Vehicle Extrication: NFPA 1670 Operations Level Skills (VEX-OLS)
Duration: Three days
VRX-OLS is designed as a basis for vehicle rescue skills. This course is designed around the requirements of NFPA 1670, Chapter 6. In-depth looks into vehicle components, new vehicle technology (Hybrid vehicles, air bags, etc.), hazard mitigation and modern extrication techniques will help prepare responders for rescue operations in and around light passenger vehicles.
Vehicle Extrication: NFPA 1670 Technician Level Skills (VEX-TLS)
Duration: Two days
VRX-TLS is designed as a continuation of the skills outlined in VRX-OLS. This course continues to fulfill the requirements of NFPA 1670, Chapter 6. Rescuers are taught techniques for dealing with vehicles in unusual positions as well as an introduction into large/heavy vehicle extrication techniques. Rescuers will be introduced to many alternative techniques that may be useful when operating on an unusual extrication scene.

Custom Advanced Extrication Courses

Consequently, HRT LLC offers custom extrication courses designed specifically to meet the client's training needs, equipment, training vehicles and budget.
